Recruitment and Selection

The Moray Council aims to attract, at reasonable cost, as wide a group of suitably qualified and experienced people as possible and to appoint the right person to each job, using a fair and consistent method of Recruitment and Selection. 

The purpose of Recruitment and Selection is to match people to work. It is the most important element in any organisation's management of people because it is not possible to optimise the effectiveness of human resources, by whatever method, if there is a less than adequate match.
