How to Make a Preliminary Enquiry

Please send a letter or e-mail us, giving your details, details of the proposals, address of the site and a location plan (to scale 1:1250 or 1:2500) and/or sketch, to assist in identifying the site.  The location plan should be outlined in red and any other land owned or in your control should be outlined in blue.  A plan showing indicative details of site access and parking arrangements would be helpful.

It would also be desirable to include any photographs, a site layout plan (scale 1:500) and sketches and/or elevation drawings (to scale 1:100 or 1:50) of the proposed development if detailed design advice is being sought.

An acknowledgment letter will be sent out or e-mailed to you informing you of the Officer dealing with your enquiry and their contact details.  A response will be provided within 28 days.  If additional information is required to be requested then this may extend the response time period.
