Moray Community Mediation is an independent service managed by SACRO and sponsored by Moray Council and the Scottish Government. The service aims to:
- Help to resolve disagreements between neighbours and other people or groups.
- Help to resolve problems with noise, parking, rubbish, children, pets, fences, damage to property, etc.

- Mediation is a way of dealing with disputes that helps those involved reach an agreement which everyone can live with.
- Mediators are independent people who will listen to all sides and help find common ground.
- Mediation is free, voluntary, confidential and impartial, and can stop problems getting out of hand.

- A mediator will visit you to hear about the difficulty and discuss options with you.
- If you agree, they visit the other person/people involved and hear their views.
- If everyone wishes to, we will help all concerned work out a mutually acceptable agreement.
