Webcasting
We use webcasting technology as part of our strategy to involve more people in the democratic processes of local government, by allowing greater accessibility to Council meetings.
This technology uses the internet to broadcast video transmission. Anyone with access to the internet can log on to view meetings at a time and location to suit themselves. The computer you use will require Flash Player to view video and a sound card and speakers for audio. Webcasts are now available to view from mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, iPod touches and Android devices.
Webcasted meetings are broadcast live and then are available to watch for a period of twelve months after broadcast via the website.
From 16 November 2020 the webcast and agenda for each meeting are both available from the individual meeting pages.
