Scotland-wide free bus travel scheme

Holders of the elderly or disabled version of the card may travel at any time of the day or night throughout Scotland using any bus or coach service. Your questions answered

Discounted Travel for Young People

If you are between 16 and 18 you will receive travel concessions of a third off bus travel across Scotland and a free Scottish Youth Railcard which will give concessions on rail journeys in Scotland.

Young people aged 11 - 15 can use their card to obtain discounted travel on Stagecoach bus services within Moray. You must however be travelling on a return journey into Elgin outwith school hours and after 11 a.m. on non school days.

Proof of Age

Young cardholders between 11 and 25 can use the card as a proof of age card.  The verification processes involved in the production of the card enable the Proof of Age Standards Scheme or PASS logo to be printed on the card.

The card is endorsed locally by Police Scotland, Trading Standards and the Moray Licensing Board.

Young Scot

For those aged between 11 and 25, the Access Moray card is your Young Scot Card.  Use it to claim local, national and international discounts. It's all these things rolled into one.  Visit www.youngscot.org for all the details and more.

Cashless Catering

All secondary schools in Moray use the card in school dining halls for their school meals.  The card is used to top up their school meal account using one of the machines in the school and then use the card rather than cash in the dining hall. You can also top up a card through our online shop.
