The use of the Plainstones, which are located in the centre of Elgin, are administered by Committee Services.
Applying to use the Plainstones
The use of the Plainstones for religious, political or commercial purposes is forbidden and any exception to this requires to be specifically approved by The Moray Council, eg the Farmers Market.
Separate permission is required for trading, public charitable collections, public processions, erection of banners and other activities for which a licence is required from The Moray Council.
An application form can be obtained, on request from the Committee Officer , who, on receipt of a completed form will liaise with the Roads Section, Environmental Health, Development Planning and
Grampian Police, If no objections are received permission is granted subject to standard conditions
