Introduction

Moray Council is undertaking the First Stage of preparing the Second Moray Local Transport Strategy in order to help plan for improved transport infrastructure and services in the area. The first stage consultation took place from Monday 11^th June to Friday 6^th July 2007.

First Stage

The First Stage involves:

1.    Review of achievements since the First Moray Local Transport Strategy in 2001

2.    Identification of the prevailing transportation problems and issues experienced by the communities of Moray 

3.    Initial vision and set of objectives presented for consideration and comment 

4.    Consideration and identification of possible options/schemes to address the vision and objectives
