Michael Rosen has been writing poetry since he was about 12 years old and for the past 30 years has travelled the world inspiring young people and adults to enjoy poetry.  He has also written picture books and stories from other cultures which appeal to children of all ages - in total being involved in over 140 books, titles such as Smelly Fish, Jelly Fish and You're Thinking of Tomatoes.  His work has been illustrated by some of the most popular illustrators including Tony Ross, Quentin Blake and Helen Oxenbury.  It is with Helen Oxenbury that he produced the famous We're Going on a Bear Hunt.
