Moray is the ancestral home of the distilling industry and the unique Malt Whisky Trail links several of the area’s leading distilleries where visitors can get an insight into the production of Scotland’s national drink. Every year tens of thousands of visitors follow the trail and take advantage of the opportunity to tour the distilleries.
