ESOL - English for Speakers of other Languages

Community Learning & Development - ESOL

As a result of support from the Scottish government, the Moray Council is able to offer free ESOL support at various locations across Moray to adults whose first language is not English.  Classes are held in community centres, libraries and other council buildings.  Daytime, evening and weekend classes are available.  Our courses are part time and are tailored to learners’ needs so can help you improve your language skills and confidence where you need it. 

Before joining a class we ask you to come in for an initial assessment to find your level of English before finding the most suitable group for you.

Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) accreditation can also be offered through the project.  Find out more about available qualifications.
