| Run one campaign targeting adult alcohol related offending - Q1 | 30 Jun 2009 | A campaign was run via the Moray Pubwatch Scheme that provided posters to licensed premises highlighting the fact that participating premises would not tolerate violence. | Run Summer Violence Reduction campaign through utilising Taxi Marshalls and awareness raising posters - Q2 | 30 Sep 2009 | The Moray Against Violence Summer Campaign began on July 3rd, and ran for the 7 week period of the school summer holidays. Taxi Marshalls were present on Elgin High Street between 1030pm and 4am every Friday and Saturday night. Two different posters were produced, highlighting the association between excessive drinking and the likelihood of being either the perpetrator or a victim of violence. A third poster was also produced, highlighting domestic abuse. These posters were distributed and displayed in premises selling alcohol as well as in Council Access Points, libraries and Post Offices. | 100 % |

| Run the Safer Streets Campaign - Q3 | 31 Dec 2009 | The Safer Streets Campaign took place throughout December and involved taxi marshals, Grampian Police and the NHS providing an additional presence on Elgin High Street. The campaign targeted Friday and Saturday nights during December including Christmas Eve and Hogmanay. The involvement of the NHS with the presence of an ambulance parked on the High Street was a change from previous years. The campaign was advertised in the local press, posters produced and distributed by GFRS, taxi cards provided by the NHS and a MFR advert that ran for four weeks prior to Christmas. An additional proposal as part of the campaign to provide a nurse within the custody suite at Elgin Police Office has been delayed due to staffing issues over the festive period. The Community Analyst will carry out a full evaluation. This will identify the campaign’s impact as well as providing the required feedback to the Scottish Government in relation to the funding they provided. | 100% |
