Elgin – setting budget, awarding contract, start date – special meeting of The Moray Council 10-2-11, report and minute

Forres (River Findhorn and Pilmuir) – preparations on hold but major milestones and activities completed to a point since no Scottish Government support for this scheme. Meetings with Ministers and COSLA.  Likely to be a change in funding mechanism and flood schemes – announcement later this year.  In the event that we are funded there are no significant statutory obstacles remaining and work can start in Autumn 2012.  Supporting evidence - Flood Alleviation Sub-Committee area on Moray Council website
