The Quines Club has been offering girls 12-18 years old, a place to have fun, relax and socialise for over 12 years. It’s a lively club which takes on fundraising activities every year, both for club funds and charities. Excursions include camping trips and city visits as well as fun-filled weekly activities, such as chocolate races, million sweetie drop and ‘I’m a quine get me out of here!’.
AMP music project encourages young people to play and write their own music in a relaxed atmosphere. It has a practice room for bands and a social room. Over the years AMP has staged a variety of gigs and events, including The Wall of Rock Youth Music Event in Lossiemouth.
Young Parents Group is run jointly by Buckie Youth Team, NHS Health Visitor and Sure Start Nursery Nurse. It aims to give vulnerable young parents and their children a point of contact for any concerns they might have. It provides an informal, relaxed environment for parents and children to meet up. Young parents are invited to come along and free to take along friends.
Buckie Youth Team also provides support to community groups, including Buckie Skatepark, Cullen Youth Café and Portgordon Youth Club.
