(5) Our reserve list of works currently includes 452 identified footway works schemes.

(6) No.

(7) From our identified reserve list schemes (as mentioned in response to Q.5 above) the average rate is £56/sqm.

(8) Base on the last 5 years, on average, approx. 3.5km of footway was resurfaced or reconstructed each year.  We have a total footway length of approx. 574km so this means that at the current average renewal rate, a footway will be replaced every 164 years.

Please note that this answer can vary considerably depending on the time frame use in the calculation.  In 2013/14 we plan to resurface/reconstruct approx. 5.9km of footway which equates to a renewal rate of 97 years.

(9) High Street, Elgin - for which we have received 32 no. footway related customer service requests since 01/04/09.
