FOI Request - Metal Thefts

Request 101000210681

I'd like to make a Freedom of Information request regarding metal thefts from buildings and property owned by the council.

I am interested in all council buildings and property, including libraries, schools, community centres, street lights, road signs, public toilets, care homes, churches -  any building or property that is owned by the council.

I would like to gather information from the past three years, ideally dating from:

January 01 - December 31 2011, 2012 and 2013.

I would like to know:

(1) The location and type of building/property targeted by metal thieves

(2) The date the theft (and possible subsequent vandalism) took place

(3) What type of metal was stolen and what quantity (or estimate of quantity)

(4) The monetary value of the metal stolen

(5) How much it cost to replace the metal and details of any damage caused during the theft. The total cost of the repairs.

(6) What action was taken following the incident - were there any arrests or charges? Was the metal recovered?

(7) Any specific details about the property- such as how it was accessed to remove the metal and whether or not the property had to close/was out of use due to the metal theft (and possible vandalism).
