FOI Request - Gypsy Traveller Sites 2

Request 101000251133

1. I seek details about how much the local authority has spent cleaning up unauthorised gypsy traveller sites or encampments over the past 10 years (ie from 2004). I also seek the number of times the council has been asked to clean up a site within the authority area. Note, this can simply be a total number and a total financial spend, broken down annually, rather than per individual site.

2. How many times has the council issued eviction notices to gypsy travellers at both authorised and unauthorised sites since 2004? Please provide figures broken down annually.

3. How many times has the council gone to court to evict travellers from both authorised and unauthorised sites since 2004? Please provide figures broken down annually.

4. How much has been paid out by the council in legal bills, or for sheriff officers, since 2004 in respect of this? Please provide figures broken down annually.

5. How many times has the council been asked to move gypsy travellers on from temporary or unauthorised sites since 2004? Please provide figures broken down annually.

6. How many complaints has the council received from the public about gypsy traveller sites since 2004? Please provide figures broken down annually.

7. I seek details about how many gypsy travellers are in rent arrears on authorised sites. Furthermore, how much unpaid rent is outstanding from travellers on authorised sites?

8. Similarly, how much has the council collected in council tax from gypsy travellers on authorised sites? How much outstanding council tax is owed to the local authority from gypsy travellers on authorised sites?

9. How many complaints of anti-social behaviour have been made to the council about gypsy travellers and gypsy traveller sites since 2004? Please provide figures broken down annually.

10. I also seek the total number of Anti-Social Behaviour Orders handed out to gypsy travellers by the council since 2004.

11. I seek details about how many times social workers have visited gypsy traveller sites (both authorised and unauthorised) since 2004. I do not seek details about the nature of the visits, simply the total number of visits, broken down annually.
