1)  The Council has one insurance contract which covers all the risks for which the Council has made a policy decision to purchase insurance.

4a)  The contract was not purchased direct with the insurer - it was competitively tendered

4b)  The contract is subject to retender, however the present incumbent has been successful in their tender bid since the Moray Council was created in 1996.  Retendered: 1998, 2003, 2010, 2014

7)  Tender subject to evaluation by a panel and authorised by Head of Financial Services (the budget holder)
