Consultation on the Integration Scheme

All local authorities and health boards were required to consult widely on their draft Integration Scheme before it was submitted to the Scottish Government for approval.

The consultation period ran from mid-November 2014 to the start of February 2015.

Information was sent directly to over 130 organisations and it was publicised to the wider community on The Moray Council and NHS Grampian websites as well as through social media and the local print/radio media.

A series of public meetings and briefing sessions for staff took place.

A total of 92 responses were received and overall gave a strong endorsement to all parts of the draft Integration Scheme.

The draft Scheme was revised in light of the consultation responses and further guidance from the Scottish Government.

It was passed by The Moray Council on 3 March 2015 and the Board of NHS Grampian on 4 March 2015 before being sent to the Scottish Government.
