The Lord-Lieutenant is the Queen’s representative in Banffshire. The current Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire is Mrs Clare Russell JP.Mrs Clare Russell, Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire 

Here is some history and a brief explanation of the role of the Lord- Lieutenant. The area of the Banffshire Lieutenancy comprises part of the Moray Council area and part of West Aberdeenshire.
