Housing Policies
We set out our housing principles and priorities in the form of policies. These guide the work we do, so that we deliver an effective and efficient housing service to you.
Our Housing Policies are created and revised through changes in legislation, the requirements of the Scottish Government, management and public concerns as well as tenant feedback.

Protocols
Armed services referral (PDF): The process we use for jointly working with the Ministry of Defence’s Joint Services Housing Advice Organisation (JSHAO) to make sure that Armed Forces Personnel receive appropriate housing advice upon their discharge from the forces, to help with their transition back into the community.
Prison referral (PDF): The process which has been developed with various prisons throughout Scotland, to establish the necessary process for those being released from prison. This aims to achieve better housing outcomes for offenders.
MHSCP hospital discharge (PDF): This process has been developed by Moray Health And Social Care Partnership (MHSCP) with significant input from the housing service to ensure a patients housing situation is identified and dealt with appropriately during their time in hospital or upon their discharge.
