1. I would like to request information relating to planning applications for residential swimming pools within your local authority area. For each of the following calendar years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 (year to date) ase provide:

a) The total number of planning applications submitted for residential swimming pools.
b) The total number of applications approved/granted.
c) The total number of applications refused/rejected.
d) The total number of applications withdrawn (if recorded).

The information requested is publicly available via the Council's online planning register and therefore exempt under S.25 FOISA - information otherwise accessible. To search for the requested information, it is recommended the enquirer uses development types "1. Householder Developments" and "3b Housing Local" and this will search for proposals related to existing houses (i.e. householder development) and new build houses respectively. Other parameters per the request can be entered into this screen as well.
