1. The number of homelessness applications received by the local authority in each of the last 5 completed financial years (e.g., 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25, and 2025/26),
As well as the most recent year-to-date data available for the current period.

2. The number of homelessness applications that remain open as of the date this request is processed.

3. How many households currently in temporary accommodation have been there for:
a) Over 6 months;
b) Over 12 months;
c) Over 24 months; and
d) Over 36 months

Temporary Accommodation

4. The number of households currently living in temporary accommodation.

5. The total number of children currently living in temporary accommodation.

6. The longest continuous period that any household has spent in temporary accommodation and is still residing there (expressed in days or months).

7. Of the response to Question 6:
a) Whether the household includes one or more dependent children; and
b) If possible, the number of dependent children in that household.

8. The longest continuous period that any household with dependent children has spent in temporary accommodation and is still residing there.

Costs

9. The total expenditure incurred by the local authority on the provision of temporary accommodation in each of the last five completed financial years (i.e. 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26), together with the most recent year-to-date expenditure figure available for the current financial year.

Where possible, please provide a breakdown of this expenditure by type of temporary accommodation, including (where recorded):

a) Accommodation leased from private landlords;
b) Bed and breakfast accommodation;
c) Hotels;
d) Local authority owned temporary accommodation; and
e) Other temporary accommodation provision.

Social Housing Demand

10. The total number of applicants currently on the social housing waiting list.

11. The number of applicants currently on the social housing waiting list who are households with one or more dependent children.
