RESPONSE

The Bellwin Scheme provides emergency financial assistance to local authorities for qualifying expenditure incurred as a result of emergencies or disasters. Financial assistance is only payable where eligible expenditure exceeds a threshold set by the Scottish Government. This threshold varies each year and is calculated as a percentage of the local authority's budgeted net revenue expenditure.

Moray Council has not received any Bellwin funding during the period covered by this request.
