Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide me with full answers to each of the following questions regarding your authority's enforcement of Blue Badge misuse:

1. How many Blue Badges has your authority withdrawn in each year since 2018, including 2026 to date?

2. For each year, please state the reason for withdrawal ie 32 suspected fraud, 91 holder deceased, 64 badge expired etc

3. For each year how many badges were seized / warnings handed out / fines issued / prosecutions launched?

If this is not possible under Section 12 then please provide the number of Blue Badges withdrawn.

Response 29-07-2026

1. There has been no withdrawal of Blue Badges by the authority in the period specified.

2. Given the response to 1. above, there is no need for a reply to this. However, to be clear, we would not withdraw a Blue Badge for suspected fraud.

3. Not held. Information that is not held is exempt under S.17 Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - information not held.
