Early Childcare & Learning - Information for Providers
The care environment and the learning opportunities you provide are vital to the personal growth of every child in Moray.
To make sure we continue to give our young people the best possible start in life we call on early years and childcare providers to work with us and our partners to develop a more flexible system that allows us to close the attainment gap while providing more training and employment opportunities for parents and carers.
We are working towards a more flexible approach to early years and childcare which, in time, could mean offering more early years childcare outwith the traditional term time system of morning or afternoon sessions. In the meantime, the phased introduction of the increased entitlement to 1,140 funded hours will give you the opportunity to assess how you can best assist with this transition. We will contact you for input and feedback throughout the transition period.
