Draft Revised Accessible Housing Supplementary Guidance

On 19 April 2016 the Council’s Planning & Regulatory Services Committee considered and agreed to an 8 week period of public consultation on Draft Revised Accessible Housing Supplementary Guidance. The Guidance aims to:

• Assist the Moray Health and Social Care Integrated Joint Board to meet the challenges presented in delivering services to our ageing population, and the shared aim of helping people to live well at home or in a homely setting, and
• To provide increased choice of tenure to people with physical disabilities or mobility impairments, by increasing the supply of accessible housing in the private sector.

Any person can make representations on the content of the revised draft Supplementary Guidance. Representations must be made by 5pm on the 1st July 2016 to Development Plans, Development Services, Moray Council, PO Box 6760, Elgin, IV30 9BX or emailed to localdevelopmentplan@moray.gov.uk
