Flood Risk and Drainage Impact Assessment for New Developments Supplementary Guidance

Moray Council has prepared revised Supplementary Guidance on Flood Risk and Drainage Impact Assessment for New Developments.  The Guidance sets out the issues that should be considered with regard to flood risk and drainage when planning a new development and the documentation developers are required to submit in support of a planning application.  

The consultation runs from 2 July 2018 to 24 August 2018. Comments can be submitted by email to localdevelopmentplan@moray.gov.uk or in writing to Moray Council, Development Services (Development Plans), High Street, Elgin, IV30 9BX. Comments must be received by 24 August 2018.  

Comments received will inform the final guidance and these will be presented to a future meeting of the Planning & Regulatory Services Committee of Moray Council.  If approved by Moray Council Planning and Regulatory Services Committee the contents of the guidance will be considered as a material consideration when assessing planning application and will be adopted as part of the Moray Local Plan 2015.
