We investigate complaints about food safety, authenticity, contaminants and hygiene. If you have concerns about food you’ve purchased or consumed contact us foodsafety@moray.gov.uk
Helpful Information:
Our investigation can be assisted with your help, please provide details;
Full product details (name, size, date code)
Packaging and retailer and manufacturer details
Date/time of purchase and when the issue was found
Receipts (if available)
Nature of the complaint (e.g., foreign object, unfit food, incorrect label)
How the food was stored after purchase
Details of any symptoms and confirmation of the infectious agent (seek medical advice if needed)
Carefully store any food items and packaging and keep refrigerated if possible.
