Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request information relating to disabled parking spaces, enforcement and Blue Badges within your authority area.

Please provide a breakdown for:

1 January to 30 September 2026 (or the latest complete full month of data available if September 2026 data is not yet finalised).

Disabled parking enforcement:

Q1. The number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued to vehicles parked in disabled parking bays without displaying a valid Blue Badge (or other proof of eligibility), broken down by year.

Where applicable, this may include Contravention Code 40 or your authority’s equivalent.

Q2. The total monetary value of the penalties issued for these offences in each year.

If readily available, please also provide the total amount actually paid or collected in relation to these penalties.

Q3. If available, the number of vehicles that received more than one such PCN during each year.

Q4. If held, please provide the five car parks or locations with the highest number of these penalties across the requested period, alongside the number issued at each location.

Disabled parking provision:

Q5. The total number of designated disabled parking bays or spaces currently under the authority’s control, or at the latest date for which figures are available.
