1. What new guidance has your local authority provided since 2020 to professionals (such as but not limited to teachers, social workers, residential carers, etc.) on building and maintaining loving relationships with Care Experienced people?

2. How many times since 2020 has your local authority been approached by a professional who holds a good relationship with a Care Experienced child or young person, and a) would like to become their carer? b) how many times has this resulted in a child or young person being placed with that person?

3. How many times in the past year has your local authority been contacted by informal kinship care families requesting support?

4. Of these informal kinship care families requesting support, how many were provided with a) practical, b) financial, c) emotional support?

5. From 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2026, how many groups of siblings have been separated when being placed in care in your local authority for reasons other than safety?

6. From 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2026, how many groups of siblings have been placed together when being placed in care in your local authority?
