I would like to request information concerning complaints about the obstruction or deterrence of statutory access rights under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.

For each financial year from 2016/17 to 2025/26, please provide:

1. The number of complaints, reports or cases received or recorded by the authority concerning an alleged obstruction, deterrent or other interference with statutory access rights.

2. Of these cases, the number which were:
a) resolved;
b) closed without action or where no access-rights issue was identified;
c) unresolved or ongoing.

3. Of the cases which were resolved, where this information is recorded, the number resolved through:
a) removal or alteration of the obstruction/sign/barrier;
b) informal contact, negotiation or agreement with the landowner/occupier;
c) formal action under Section 14 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003;
d) other means.

4. The number of Section 14 notices issued in each financial year.
