Annual September School Census
Buckie High School is a six-year comprehensive community school serving the Banffshire coastal area of Moray Council. It is a busy community school with over 900 pupils and a staff of over 100. It opened in 1876, and since then there have only been ten Rectors. On site at the school, there is a swimming pool and leisure complex, and extensive sports facilities. Our shared vision for Buckie High School is to see the school as a learning community which has a ‘can-do’ ethos, and is a place where pupils, staff, parents and the wider community work together to make school an enjoyable experience, where everyone involved is challenged, engaged and motivated. We aim to ensure that, during their time at Buckie High School, our pupils become successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens.
