Varis Training
Varis training are a private training provider based in Forres. We deliver a range of vocational qualifications (SVQs and NVQs) some of which include manufacturing, engineering, logistics and management. In addition to the SVQ programme we also offer an extensive portfolio of professional development courses and Industry specific training for individuals and companies, including plant and equipment training, health and safety, food safety, first aid and welding. Training can be specifically tailored to meet our customers’ requirements.
Our outcome is to support individuals and employers with all aspects of training and development. The outcome of our training should have a positive outcome on supporting individuals into employment, confidence, staff retention, repeat business, customer service and cost savings. Many of our employers and individuals contact us direct for advice and information on the most suitable courses for them, to gain employment or to improve on existing skills or learning new skills. We are also proactive in engaging with the community, local businesses and through networking and we welcome any referrals.
Depending on the individual or company eligibility, this will determine if there are any costs involved with training. We fully assess all cases and attract Government funding where possible. The funding available includes: Transition Training Fund ILA (Individual Learning Account) and ELCAS funding.
