I would like to ask for information regarding the connectivity in your local area covered by The Moray council. A connectivity project referred to below is any project aimed to improve broadband, phone signal or other type of internet connection in your region.
1. How many council buildings have access to superfast broadband? Please specify an amount
2. Have you invested in connectivity projects aimed at improving local council offered services in the last 12 months? Yes/No
If no, do you have plans for future projects? Yes/No
If yes, how much has been invested so far? Please specify an amount
If yes, can you provide any details of these plans? Please specify any projects you are working on.

Response 14-03-2019

1. All Council sites (92 in total) are connected via the Scottish Wide Area Network; the bandwidth at each site is dependent on the specific requirements of the site.

2. Moray Council hasn't invested in any connectivity projects over the last 12 months but the area has benefitted from the rollout of superfast broadband as delivered by the Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) NGB project.
