FOI Requests & Responses

The Moray Council received more than 700 FOI requests throughout 2012.  We endeavour to answer every request within the 20 working day period contained within the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. Our performance rate in maintaining this timescale is currently 95 per cent.

In keeping with the council’s stated priority of open and transparent government, all requests and the responses they elicit will be published here in this disclosure log as soon as they are received.   To assist you in finding requests on subjects you may be interested in, the requests have been broken down into key council departments. All personal information and references have been removed from the requests to protect the privacy of individuals making requests.
