How many Herring Gulls are shot, or otherwise killed, annually at Dallachy recycling centre?

In accordance with section 10(4)(a) of the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004, please be advised that we do not hold figures for herring gulls. Please see mixed gull figures for the last 3 years below, comprising of greater black backed gulls, lesser black backed gulls and herring gulls.

2016 - 2017 = 22
2017 - 2018 = 27
2018 - 2019 = 36
2019 -2020 to date = 18

Please note these are gulls that have either been shot or caught with falcons. Shooting only takes place when all other processes have been utilised and have been ineffective depending on current circumstances.
