1.      Does your authority have current digital inclusion policies relating to children in care and care-leavers? If so, please let me know where this information is published or send me a copy.

2.      Does your authority’s guidance for care-leavers or pathway assessment process contain specific reference to the risk of digital inclusion among care-experienced young people? If so, please let me know where this information is published or send me a copy.

3.      Has your authority been involved with initiatives to provide digital media (for example, laptops or similar digital technology, dongles or other internet alternative) to children in local authority care or care-leavers since March 2020, in order to address the impact of the pandemic on digital exclusion? If so, please let me know where this information is published or send me a copy.

1.      Does your authority have current digital inclusion policies relating to children in care and care-leavers?   No specific policy
        If so, please let me know where this information is published or send me a copy.   N/A

2.      Does your authority's guidance for care-leavers or pathway assessment process contain specific reference to the risk of digital inclusion among care-experienced young people?  The assessment template for pathways is being reworked and will reflect this risk/ need.
If so, please let me know where this information is published or send me a copy. This information/document is not currently held. This information is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information Not Held.

3.      Has your authority been involved with initiatives to provide digital media (for example, laptops or similar digital technology, dongles or other internet alternative) to children in local authority care or care-leavers since March 2020  in order to address the impact of the pandemic on digital exclusion? Yes, through the Connecting Scotland programme – phase 2 , care leavers up to the age of 26 have received devices.  Given the provision of laptops and tablets for learners a number of our looked after children have received devices through this programme.
