FOI Request - Diesel Use in Council Vehicles

1. Have the changes in legislation regarding the use of red diesel affected the council vehicles?
2. If so, how  - in figures - has this impacted on the Council budget?

1. Yes all vehicles and plant that ran on gas oil must now use DERV.
2. The 2022/23 budget was increased by £103,000 to allow for the change to DERV. There was a separate allocation of budget for the price increase.
