3. How many primary teachers are currently registered in the authority for the year 2022/23? How many of these teachers are on:

a) Permanent contracts
b) Temporary contracts
c) Casual supply

4. How much additional funding has been provided for primary teaching staff for the following years:

a) 2021/22
b) 2022/23

5. How many of the following were employed using the additional funding given (please separate this data into 2021/22 and 2022/23):

a) Permanent staff
b) Temporary/fixed term staff
c) PEF funded teaching staff

6. How many NQTs were appointed for: 2021/22?

7. How many of them obtained the following for 2022/23 after completing registration:

a) Permanent contract
b) Temp/fixed term contract
c) Casual supply (zero hours)

8. How many supply primary teachers (no specified hours) are on the current supply register?

9. How many of these supply teachers have had more than 5 days of work since August 2022?

a) Permanent staff: 1 in 2021/22
b) Temporary/fixed term staff: 33.9 in 2021/22
c) PEF funded teaching staff: PEF is not allocated directly for teaching staff so we would only be able to provide the actual spend on teachers

In 2022/23 £533k was allocated as a result of increase in class sizes and £656k to support additional NQTs (total 20)

To extract this detail will required a considerable amount of staff time and this would cost the Council in excess of £600.
