1. Please tell me the number of a) vehicles under authority ownership, and b) vehicles that are not owned by the council but which are used for work contracted by the council (e.g. as part of waste and recycling services run by third parties) that do not comply with the following standards: Euro 4 emissions standards for petrol vehicles, Euro 6 for diesel vehicles, and Euro VI for HGVs.

If the requested information on vehicles in category ‘b)’ is not available, I would be grateful if you could still detail levels of compliance for vehicles under category ‘a)’ (council ownership), making it clear in your response what information is being provided.

1a) 519 registered vehicles; of which 216 do not comply with the following standards: Euro 4 emissions standards for petrol vehicles, Euro 6 for diesel vehicles, and Euro VI for HGVs.

b) Number of vehicles that are not owned by the council but which are used for work contracted by the council (e.g. as part of waste and recycling services run by third parties) that do not comply with the following standards: Euro 4 emissions standards for petrol vehicles, Euro 6 for diesel vehicles, and Euro VI for HGVs: - 0
