FOI Request - RAAC Costs

Under the Freedom of Information Act, please may I request the following from you:

1.  How much has the council estimated it will cost to deal with issues regarding reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete in your buildings?
2. Separately, If possible, please can you break this figure down into categories? Eg, Schools, Community Centres, etc.
3.  Finally, please can you provide a figure for how many buildings contain the material. Please can this also be broken down in to categories?

Response 18-12-2023

1. Our estimate cost as at 5 December 2023 is circa £600,000. Please note this cost does not include in house officer time or ongoing monitoring costs.

2. Entire cost in relation to a school.

3. As at 5 December 2023 based on the investigation work undertaken within Moray Council's non housing portfolio, there is 1 property that contains RAAC.
