EIR Request - Swift Policy and Swift Bricks

Request 101003504144

Swifts are a red-listed species due in part to loss of nesting sites. Swift bricks offer a refuge to different urban reliant species too so are a universal enhancement. Swift bricks are known to be occupied by House Martin too - another red list species.

Since government wants decisions in matters such as this left to local planning authorities, would you mind providing answers to these questions, please?

1. Do you have a policy on swift, swallow or martin provision? Do you consider them to be Priority species?
2. Where do you access your biological/environmental records? I assume you do so as part of your job to enhance biodiversity.
