FOI Request - Vape Confiscations in Schools

1.  The total number of vape confiscations each year in schools (including both primary and secondary) in your local authority over the last five years.

2.  If possible, the number of confiscations that resulted in consequence such as detention, suspension or expulsion. However, you do not need to provide this if you do not have this information.

1. & 2. To answer the other questions, we would have to read through thousands of pupil files individually. This task would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this request.
