1. The total number of non-housing premises owned by your Council that are currently empty. Please include a breakdown according to the intended use/previous use of the buildings - eg offices, retail, leisure.

2. The total number of non-housing premises owned by your Council that have been empty for more than 12 months. Please include a breakdown according to the intended use/previous use of the buildings - eg offices, retail, leisure.

1. There are currently 24 vacant buildings. 

2. 7 of which have been vacant more than 12 months.

Disclosing details about the intended/previous us of empty properties could increase the risk of criminal activity being targeted on those buildings. This information is therefore exempt under section 35(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) 2002; prejudice to the prevention or detection of crime. It is not considered in the public interest to release this information and it is deemed that there is a risk of substantial prejudice to the prevention of crime if this information were to be released.
