Thank you for your response, I wish to request a review. I believe my request has been somewhat misinterpreted.

You have provided the average age presumably for all grades 1-13 at Moray Council. I requested age information by grade, for example:

Grade 1 - 42
Grade 2 - 36
and so on.

I appreciate that highest and lowest age may result in identification as you suggest, so the average age by grade, set out as above, would be sufficient as per my original request.

Following your request for a review (our ref: 101003771223) of your Freedom of Information (FOI) - Age and Pay Grade Information (our ref: 101003751592) - a review meeting was held on 7th May 2025. In attendance were the Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer, HR Business and Resources Team Leader, Solicitor, and Information Co-ordinator.

Your FOI Request (101003751592) from 20th March 2025 was discussed.

We found that in our original response your question had accidentally been misinterpreted, and we had given the average age across grades 1-13 instead of per grade. Please accept our apologies for this and any inconvenience caused.
