5. In a breakdown of the past ten financial years how much money has the landfills contracts cost?

6. In a breakdown of the projected years left on the landfill contracts, how much will this cost each year?

1. All waste currently goes to Energy From Waste (EfW) incineration. Nothing has been sent to landfill since May 2023.

2. Any waste sent to landfill in the last 10 years (prior to incineration) would have been general waste only and no known recycling was sent to landfill.

5. The landfill site used prior to EfW was owned by the Council, therefore no contract costs were incurred, just running costs.
