FOI Request - Social Housing Allocations and Immigration Status Data

I am writing to request the following information under FOI:

1. For the calendar years 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 to date please provide the following data related to individuals housed in social housing:

a) Total number of individuals allocated social housing (either directly by the council or through housing associations, temporary accommodation, or any other housing support provided by the council).

b) A breakdown of these individuals by immigration/residency status at the time of allocation, specifically categorised as:

     i)     British citizen
     ii)     EU national with settled status (EUSS)
     iii)     EU national with pre-settled status (EUSS)
     iv)     Non-EU national with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
     v)     Refugee status
     vi)    Humanitarian Protection / Discretionary Leave
     vii)    Other (please specify if applicable)

Please confirm whether you have nationality or residency data stored or collected for housing allocations, and if so, provide the relevant breakdown. If such data is not held, please indicate the reasons why.
