I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act about public toilet provision in your area.

1. The number of council administered public toilets in your area in 2016
2. The number of council administered public toilets in your area in June 2025
3. Whether any council administered public toilets in your area charge for admission
4. If you run a Community Toilet Scheme, how many businesses have signed up to this
5. Any policy regarding public use of toilets in council-owned and run buildings, such as libraries or sports centres

1. 33 public toilet blocks.

2. 18 public toilet blocks.

3. Moray Council do not charge an admission fee for public toilets within Moray.

4. Moray Council do not run a Community toilet scheme

5. Moray Council allows members of the public to use toilet facilities at our library premises and our main council building within Elgin (where reception is located).
