I am requesting information on council buildings and land that have been sold in the last 10 years.
1. Could you please provide a list with the every property and area of land that has been sold in the last 10 years.
If the following information could also be included:
a) Name and address of property/land
b) The date on which it was sold
c) How much the building/land was sold for
d) How much the building/land was valued at before being sold
e) How many bids each individual building/piece of land received

The attached spreadsheet contains a list of every property/land sold by Moray Council in since January 2010.
Please note within the table there is the name and address of the property, the price paid for the property along with the date of sale. There is also a description column which provides some information on the type of property/land. For the avoidance of doubt, where no price is quoted this is where the land or property has been sold for no consideration.
You have requested a note of the valuation of each property/land before the sale and the number of offers received for each property. Unfortunately, the way we hold our records would require a review of each case file individually to provide this information. At more that 270 entries to be checked, allowing 10 minutes per entry, this task would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this part of the request.
