I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from Moray Council.
Please provide me with the following information:
1. The number of repair requests submitted by tenants of council owned housing that relate specifically to issues of damp or mould between 1st January 2022 and 1st January 2025. Please provide figures for:
a) 2022
b) 2023
c) 2024
2. The average amount of time taken (in days) between an initial repair request being submitted - relating specifically to issues of damp or mould - and investigation by the council (or council sub-contractors) between 1st January 2022 and 1st January 2025. Please provide figures for:
a) 2022
b) 2023
c) 2024
3. The average amount of time taken (in days) for the council (or council sub-contractors) to complete a repair for damp or mould between 1st January 2022 and 1st January 2025. Please provide figures for:
a)2022
b) 2023
c) 2024.
4. The total number of complaints received by tenants of council owned housing, relating to repairs for damp and mould i.e. because repairs have not been completed or repairs have not been completed to a suitable standard.

1. -3. To find this information, we would have to look at each property record individually. At over 600 property records, at an estimated 5 minutes this task would take over 40 hours and this would cost the Council in excess of £600. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, excessive cost, we are therefore unable to comply with this part of your request.
